If you are a regular here, you will no doubt be familiar with the regular Kurganing of some deceitful half-with that catches my attention from time to time.
Simple. The truth matters. And these guys would mug and rape the truth if they ever met it face to face.
If someone was going around telling people 2+2 is 5, and people listen to that liar, try to comprehend what the ramifications of that are. Imagine what would happen to engineering as a whole.
Well, this is the same.
And even if you are not Catholic, are you the type that would let absolute lies “pass” if only they agreed with your specific pre-conceived ideas? Most of which aren’t in fact your ideas at all, they may have been your great-great-great-grandfather’s long ago, when he was very drunk one night and got upset at a Catholic priest calling him out so he went hardcore Protestant on the spot. Truth is most people have not spent 20 minutes checking on the factual basis for their religious identity.
If they had, their journey would take a lot longer and resemble something like the steps identified here.
Anyway, that’s why I do it.
Oh; and also… I kinda enjoy it. It’s not quite the same as charging heretics on horseback with a lance, but hey, we have to take our fun where we can.
